1980’s Project
1988 Geller, together with his friend Kleboth, launches 'Creation' porcelain. This porcelain material is bright, has a good colouring in the mouth and matches the colour tone of the VIta Clasical shade guide very well.
If the concept of oral design is to create the patient's face and mouth with character in mind, the concept of creation is not only to produce realistic crowns with good colouring of metal ceramics, but also to make the gingiva brighter by guiding light into the gingiva with this ceramic system, thereby making the oral cavity look healthier.
Geller asks, "What is good esthetic prosthetics?" Geller believes that the concept of oral design (human philosophy and technique) and the concept of creation (materials) play different roles, and that the fusion of these two will further demonstrate the concept of oral design and produce good esthetic prosthetics.
Geller also created and marketed a wide range of translucent and opacus dentine, an idea that was not available from any other manufacturer at the time, and became the dominant manufacturer of porcelain materials for aesthetic prosthetics. Geller also became Creation's signature instructor, giving hands-on courses and lectures. This later led to other manufacturers following Creation's lead.
Also, by this time the 'oral design' group had been formed, so it was not too difficult to propagate it worldwide, as the groundwork had been laid for members to become instructors, not only in Geller but also in the world.
